New article on synchroshear in Scripta Materialia

Published: 12 March 2019

Scripta Materialia

I'm glad to announce that our work entiteld "Basal slip in Laves phases: The synchroshear dislocation" has been published in Scripta Materialia, and is available online [DOI], on arXiv and for free here [until 30.5.2019].

Visit at the LEM3 in Metz

Published: 07 March 2019

On the 8th of March, 2019, I'm glad to be back at the LEM3 in Metz (France). Invited by Dr. Stéphane Berbenni, I'm looking forward to discuss about our ongoing and futur collaborations on scale-bridging approaches, as weel as on novel methods for exchanges between numerical simulations and continuum modelings of material mechanics.

New article on focused ion beam milling accepted in "Nature Communications"

Published: 15 January 2019

ncommsI'm glad to annonce that our work in collaboration with the Max Planck Institute for Iron Research and the Imperial College has been accepted today in Nature Communications: "Cryogenic focused ion beam milling of environmentally-sensitive materials: example of Ti and its alloys". Within this large experimental/numerical collaborative effort, I designed, performed and analyzed all the numerical investigations.
